Administrative Team
Anna David, Events Coordinator
Anna David graduated in May 2009 from The University of Texas at Austin with a B.A. in Public Relations. Anna became passionate about special event coordination four years ago and, since then, has worked in the event industry as a member and volunteer of International Special Events Society, wedding planning assistant and personal special event planner. Currently, Anna is the Social Marketing Manager for more than 15 local Austin restaurants and bars where she helps to promote their brands through social media, promotional events and campaigns. Although Anna has voted both Republican and Democratic in the last two presidential elections, she does not strictly affiliate with either side and keeps an open and educated mind about both parties. Anna plans to continue living and working in the Austin area in the future.
Jess Decelle, Social Media Specialist
Originally from Louisiana, Jess Decelle has a B.A. in Psychology from The University of Louisiana at Monroe and is currently pursuing her M.A. in Advertising at The University of Texas. She is an active member of Equality Now and strongly believes in equal rights for women not only in the U.S. but also throughout the world. Jess does not choose to associate herself with a specific political party, opting instead to analyze each issue and candidate on an individual basis. She is an avid reader, a creator of art, a lover of life, and spends her down time watching old movies with her husband and two dogs.
Matt Koller, Public Relations Director
A Houston native, Matt attends The University of Texas at Austin, majoring in Public Relations. In addition to his classwork, Matt works with Texas Tower PR, a student-run public relations firm that is dedicated to providing quality PR to nonprofits in the Austin area, and has just started with the Theatre Action Project. Matt joined the Y Gen team in Summer 2009, and looks forward to helping it grow into a voice for Generation Y. After graduation in May, Matt plans to either attend law school or work in corporate PR. Matt does not identify with either the Republican or Democratic party, but instead looks at what each candidate would bring to the office. Although he tends to tilt left, Matt keeps an open mind to the opinions of all people. His biggest influence has been his father, who provides a strong foundation for his family, especially in the face of adversity. Matt loves spending almost every waking moment involved in sports. But he also feels his time is best spent giving back to the community and helping those less fortunate.
Jordan Langdon, Social Media Specialist
Jordan Langdon is currently a senior Public Relations major at The University of Texas at Austin. She is especially interested in social media and is looking forward to aiding the social media efforts of Y Gen Out Loud. Jordan serves as communication officer of Texas Tower PR, a student-run firm on campus which provides quality public relations to local non-profits. Though her political views tend to lean to the right, she thinks it is especially important to form a well-educated opinion and learn about every political issue on a case-by-case basis.
